
TIM MCGRATH

Tim is a Sports Physiotherapist with nearly 20 years professional practice & professional sport experience since graduating in 2002. Tim completed his PhD from the Research Institute of Sports & Exercise (UCRISE) at the University of Canberra on the topic of ACL rehabilitation and return to sport following knee injury in 2016. Tim’s clinical expertise focuses on lower limb rehabilitation, and he regularly conducts clinical consultancy to professional sporting teams within Australia and also overseas for complex cases following lower limb injury. He developed Pitch Ready (www.pitch-ready.com) which combines cutting-edge data science with clinical insights to optimize squad-based injury prevention strategies across organizations as well as return to sport decision-making following lower limb injury.
In the last 12months alone, Tim has provided clinical consultancy for over 28 professional teams within the following competitions:

- Major League Rugby (MLR) – USA
- Australian Football League (AFL & AFL-W) – AUS
- National Rugby League (NRL) – AUS

From 2004 to 2019 Tim also worked in full time clinical appointments with professional sporting teams across multiple codes including:

- Port Adelaide Football Club in the AFL (2015-2017)
- Australian Men’s Rugby Sevens Team in the HSBC World Series (2013-2014)
- Brumbies Super Rugby Team (2006-2011)
- Sale Sharks Rugby Football Club United Kingdom (2006)
- Canberra Raiders NRL team (2004-2006).
In addition to his undergraduate Physiotherapy degree and subsequent PhD, Tim has completed a post-graduate Master’s Degree in Sports Physiotherapy and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Extended-Scope Physiotherapy and a Graduate Certificate in Data Science. He has lectured extensively in sports physiotherapy courses for the Australian Physiotherapy Association as well as to other health professions and has authored publications in peer-reviewed journals (see here)

LOUISA MCGINNESS
Louisa is a Titled Sport & Exercise Physiotherapist with over 14 years clinical experience in both professional sport and clinical practice.
She is currently a tournament physiotherapist for Tennis Australia, and has previously worked as the Head Physiotherapist for the Australian Men’s Rugby 7’s Program – including the recent inaugural World Series-winning season 2021/22.
She has also worked with the NSW Institute of Sport, the Tongan Rugby 7s Team, Brisbane Heat WBBL, ‘Matilda The Musical’, ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, ‘SIX’ The Musical, and Randwick Rugby Union.
Louisa has developed a strong interest in rehabilitation of a wide range of injuries; in particular the hip, knee, foot & ankle.

DANIEL STACK

Daniel is a titled APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist with 10 years clinical experience. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wollongong and his physiotherapy training at the University of Sydney, before completing a post-graduate Master of Sports Physiotherapy degree at La Trobe University. Daniel has worked with multiple teams across the A-League and Football NSW National Premier Leagues. His work on hamstring injuries, injury prevention, and return-to-play decision-making has been used by La Trobe University within their post-graduate Master of Strength & Conditioning degree. Daniel provides management of all sports and musculoskeletal injuries, as well as post-operative rehabilitation and second opinions for complex presentations.

JON McGRATH

Jon has held a number of professional Rugby Union contracts as a player with ACT Brumbies, Western Force and Melbourne Rebels in Australia, while also representing Australia at the Schoolboy, Under 19 and International Sevens level.
He has over 15 years financial industry experience, as a private wealth Director of JBWere Ltd with tertiary qualifications Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Level 2 Accredited Derivatives adviser.

As Director of Product and Customer Experience for Pitch Ready, Chris is the voice of the Customer and is accountable and responsible for the execution and success of our global and regional Product Strategies.
